Aviation Chicago

Aviation Chicago's mission is to be the comprehensive source of information about aviation in the Chicago area. In the greater Chicago area there are a couple dozen airports and a hundred organizations devoted to aviation. In any given month, there are scores of events and activities covering all aspects of aviation.

Aviation Chicago's goal is to bring all this information together into one easy-to-find place. Whether you're a pilot wanting to enhance your skills, an enthusiast looking for an air show, or a young person seeking information on an aviation career, Aviation Chicago is the place to look.

Aviation Chicago exists to make it easy for you to find the information you want when you want it, but not to duplicate everything on the web. While it will have information useful to pilots, it is not a flight planning tool. While it showcases various organizations and companies, it doesn't duplicate their web sites. Instead, we act as a clearinghouse, pointing you to the latest, most useful information available.

Well, these are lofty goals for Aviation Chicago and, obviously, we're not there yet. But we are on the way. The framework is in place and rapidly expanding.
